Baking Soda Teeth Whitening
- It is very important that you keep your teeth white and shining.
White shining teeth gives you sparkling smile which can have great
positive impact in your social life. White bright teeth make you look
young and your smile looks great if teeth are spotless and white.
Everyone loves to have glowing teeth, it is for this reason that many
teeth whitening products and treatments are available these days.
Sometimes they can be very expensive also. But for the people who are
tight on budget many inexpensive solutions are also available.
One such inexpensive teeth whitening solution is baking soda. Baking
soda is used as a primary ingredient in almost all tooth pastes. A
siimple paste of baking soda and water can be used as an effective agent
for teeth whitening. Adding small amounts of strawberries to baking
soda can give faster results. In olden days before invention of tooth
paste, people used to brush their teeth with baking soda.
But regular usage of baking soda can deteriorate the teeth. Never brush
the mixture of baking soda and strawberries too vigorously as the small
particles of strawberry seeds can cause harm to your teeth and gum.
Doctors suggest that baking soda should not be used as teeth whitening
agent for more than twice a month. Dentists also recommend that you
should not brush for more than two minutes. For better results after
brushing with baking soda paste, brush your teeth again with regular
fluoride tooth paste.
It is easy to make the baking soda whitening paste. Simply add 4 to 5
strawberries in about half cup of water and one cup of baking soda. Make
sure that you remove the stems of strawberries and blend everything
with the help of a mixer and make sure everything gets smashed
thoroughly. You can store this mixture in your refrigerator and use it
for few days.
Every time you want to use this mixture simply dip your tooth brush in
this mixture and brush your teeth, you can even use your fingers. But
try to avoid using this mixture frequenty as it can damage your teeth
and gums.
